Syntax Description:

• ip-address— IP address of the BGP neighbor.

• line— Regular expression. See Appendix B.

Purpose: To display all the BGP paths in the database.

Cisco IOS Software Release: 10.0

Example: Display BGP Path Information

The AS paths contained in the BGP database can be displayed using the show ip bgp paths command.

The following list explains some of the fields that appear in the preceding output from the show ip bgp paths command.

• Address— Memory address of where the path is stored.

• Hash— Hash bucket where the path is stored.

• Refcount— Number of prefixes using that path.

• Metric— Multi-exit discriminator for the path.

• Path— The autonomous system path and origin code for the prefix.
